Meeting Title:
If I Had a Hammer: Enforcing Receivership Orders Against Third Parties

Meeting Description:
Join us for a networking and educational event that is sure to hit home for anyone involved in receivership practice:  Receivership assets are often in the possession of third parties.  Receivership estates often have rights against third parties.  Your receivership appointment order says that third parties must cooperate, but what if they don’t?  In this one-hour lunch program (plus a 30-minute networking reception to start), our experienced and engaging panel will explore (i) common scenarios where third parties are implicated, (ii) ways to assure that appropriate powers against third parties are provided for in the appointment process, and (iii) different stages and methods of enforcement if third parties are non-cooperative – right up to contempt proceedings.
